Summertime Hues - Makers residency and designer collaborations!

It's so great to be enjoying the summer sunshine, I have started going for long, early morning walks in the countryside around Aylsham, discovering dye plants in the hedgerows and finding time and space to think and just be...

It's been lovely to see so many of you at makeplace in Magdalen St, where I am currently 'maker in residence' Tuesday to Thursdays each week until 31 July. I have been working on my 'Old, New, Boro'd and Blue' quilt from the #100dayproject2019 and enjoying our weekly makers meetups on a Thursday evening 6-9pm. More info and booking here. I'm offering 10% off all my Colours of Norfolk™ yarn until the end of July, so pop along and pick up some plant dyed yarn for your next project!

The new 20g mini skeins are ideal for colour work projects and the new 'Treacherous Tides" shawl pattern from Gianna aka Knorfolknots. All of her patterns use 100g of yarn and are available for all ability levels from absolute beginners to improvers/advanced level. Gianna will be running a knitting workshop at makeplace on Wednesday 31 July 1.30 - 4pm if you fancy learning how to create one of these beautiful shawls.
